UGH this is how some people will think when talking to you about dating with a disability

You might get messages from people thinking that just because you are disabled you are easy, that they are big person for taking time out to be with you.


Do you want a pat on the back or a medal for supposedly being a decent person who sees past my ‘flaws’ and says the disability is a ‘non issue’ and that I’m still attractive in spite of it? Because you aren’t going to get one. My disability and the fact that I use canes or a wheelchair don’t make me any less attractive.

Thankfully the make it easy for you to move on and find someone who is a lot smarter and knows better.
