You gotta have a car before you can have a boyfriend

I successfully scored a date to the Magic Castle on Sunday and couldn't be more excited about it! 

but I did have some anxiety 

 Guys seem to only want to date girls with a car. I have asked all my guy friends about this and they don't understand why this is. My ex explained he was expected to drive his girlfriend everywhere and its not like I would do that! I can get around, my getting around on my own just takes more planning. 

and I understand but its not like its easy for me to just get a car I have to have a modified car, I have to take lessons which cost a lot of money and then I will have to get hand controls installed in my car again a lot of money. Will it be worth it for the freedom I will have sure but I wish I could explain it to these guys.

Sometimes I tell them I was in a car accident and my car was smashed to pieces and that I am working towards getting a new one, This actually did happen so its not like I am a liar it just happened when I was 16. 

While I am working toward this I guess according to these guys I shouldn't date till then.


anyways so I have ways of getting around and it takes a lot of scheduling and so I wasn't sure if this was the place to do it and I thought I would explain to him that I was going to take Lyft there but I just spoke to my roommate and he thinks his cousin will drop me off and pick me up so I will work that out with her and then mention it to this promising date :)

Now I have to figure out what to wear!!!
