I love the Holidays and it comes from my family who always makes it special. So much so my brothers friend John would come and spend it with us (This is him and my brother and I a few christmases ago). We grow up I guess and now he has a relationship and spends the holidays with her.
But now I get to take Wes home and share with his family the holidays. For the past two years we spent Thanksgiving at my moms. The first year we spent the holidays apart. It was the longest we were apart, not going to lie I cried at the airport. Last year I spent Christmas in Georgia with his family and it was scary and wonderful and I love creating new memories with Wes and his family and it makes it even more special that we will get to spend it with my family.
I'm all about details and little things about the holidays and thankfully I met a guy that love this about me and helps me with it!
We always go Christmas light looking (a tradition my family had) We try and do fun things around L.A. Last year we got a forever potted Christmas tree and started taking Christmas card photos. We eat special foods with certain Christmas movies and specials, I love the traditions we are building together!
I love the food too from the continuing pumpkin to all the egg nog, Gingerbread cookies from Coffee bean became a thing for me last year. My mom makes amazing stuff every year and so thats going to be great to share with Wes.
